The Grand Haven Lighthouse is located on a concrete causeway extending into Lake Michigan. Along the causeway runs an old conveyor line that was used to unload supply ships. To get there, turn off of US 31 onto Franklin Street (left if your heading north). Take Franklin Street to the end and then turn left on to S. Harbor Dr. Follow S. Harbor Drive around until you see the Lighthouse. There is good parking and a campground. You can walk out on to the causeway, but be careful as it can be slippery.
