Port Austin Reef Lighthouse is off-shore at the tip of the thumb of Michigan. It is best visited by boat. It is difficult to get close to the lighthouse on land as you can tell from our picture. Unless you plan to visit it by boat, we give it 2 stars on our scale of 1 to 5 stars.
